I had the pleasure of taking some photos of Baby Kai. Kurt and Judith came up to the house. This was good experience on taking pictures of newborns. Kai was definitely a trooper. He is so little and cute.

Kurt was given these Footie Pajamas as a gift to match a set he bought for Kai.

We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday! We drive out on their fields and pick our pumpkins off the vines. And then we enjoy the animals and Hay Bale Maze for the kids. But we can’t leave without getting Pumpkin Bars. Yummy!!

Kyla wasn’t in the best of moods. She just wanted to be carried, but she had a lot of fun in the hay bale maze with daddy.

None of the kids would touch the grasshopper except for Elayna!

We had the pleasure of spending time with the Abuelos when they were out here for David & Vanessa’s Anniversary celebration. Kyla enjoys playing with Abuelo so much. I was able to capture a picture with Kyla before they headed back home.

Yesterday we went to Colorado Springs to visit our newest Nephew!

He is a cutie! Congratulations to Kurt & Judith.

Well not really! The other weekend we went to a corn maze nearby with friends. Kyla had a lot of fun, mostly running from and chasing Zane! And then at the end Brian and Zane were throwing corn at each other, so Kyla joined in too.

We had a great time partaking in the Celebrations for David & Vanessa’s 10 year Anniversary! Eventhough everything didn’t go as planned it couldn’t have been better. It was great to spend time with Family, especially Aunt Lynne. You two looked great! We love you both so much and look forward to many many more years of Anniversary Celebrations.

On September 27 we celebrated David and Vanessa’s 10th Anniversary. We were dressed up and I thought why don’t we take a quick family photo before we leave. I have a few others, just haven’t gotten to processing them yet! I still have to work on the pictures from D & V’s anniversary Dinner, which we had a wonderful time at!

Back in August we stopped by a Sunflower field so I could take pictures and experiment. It was in the middle of the day, so for Kyla it was way too bright. It was so beautiful, looking at this huge sea of yellow!

At the end of August Kyla, Grandma Terry, and I went to Utah for a week. Zane flew out on Friday and drove back with us on Labor Day.

That Sunday we visited Temple Square. We stopped at the reflection pool in front of the Temple and Kyla said,”A castle in the water”, and then she looked up and said, “two castles.” When we were in the North Visitor’s center Kyla enjoyed sitting quietly at the statue of Jesus, The Christus. When Zane asked her if we should go she replied, “No.” But she finally got up, waved and said, “Bye, Jesus.”
