Sneak Peak of Spike!!

We really aren’t going to name him Spike, just had to put that in for a friend!
I had a Dr. appointment last week. Zane was working at the airport, so Kyla joined me for a sneak peek at her brother. They did an ultrasound to take measurements and make sure that the placenta had moved away from my cervix. Everything is going great, I just feel like a foot is going to break through my tummy with how much this little guy moves.
Kyla asked me yesterday before church, “Mommy, you gonna pop?”. I sure feel like it somedays. Zane and I had a good laugh!
Here are some of our ultrasound pictures. Sorry if you can’t tell what you are looking at.
This one is of his profile.

And this one is of his face. You can see an eye socket and mouth.
And you can see a hand just below his jaw.

I think he looks just like me! (Wishful thinking)

We’re Still Rockin’

Of course we are addicted and had to get Guitar Hero III. We brought it home and as always Kyla has to join in. She has taken over one of the guitars, and she gets quite into it. The first night we played she fell asleep sitting with Zane and the guitar in hand. She like to mimic the guitar player on screen, so when they kick she does as well.

Parade of Lights!

We went to the parade of lights on Friday night in downtown Denver. It was chilly, but we were bundled and prepared with our hot chocolate and popcorn! It was a good way to start off the month of December, which I still can’t believe is here. We are excited to see Tia and Tio at the end of this month!!

Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving! We went to the Mayne’s in Gypsum. What a feast, there were three different Turkeys and a Leg of Lamb to choose from. Kyla enjoyed playing with the kids and especially loves playing with Cassie.

Chelsea’s Bridal Shower!

I went to a friend’s (Chelsea) bridal shower a few weeks ago. It was in Castle Rock at Augustine Grill for their High Tea. I have never been to High Tea before, it was so fun and the food was delicious. Chelsea will be getting married on Dec.15! It was so good to see her and be able to visit. Oh how I have missed her!

Carving Pumpkins!!

Let me just start by saying that I am so excited that I can share these pictures now! I have many pictures that are on my memory card just waiting to be processed. Thank You Kurt!
Well, I know these are past due, but here are a few pictures from pumpkin carving. We carved our pumpkins the week before Halloween (highly do not recommend doing that). They looked a bit shrivelled by Halloween. We had fun carving, and I guess that is what counts!

Just an Update

Well our computer is ill and I haven’t been able to process my pictures from the last couple of weeks. So I redid the design on our Blog.
We had a wonderful time for Halloween. Kyla was a scarecrow, I dressed up as a nun, and Zane was a sort of grim reaper without a mask of course. We went to our ward’s trunk or treat party on Tuesday and we took Kyla to a shopping mall on Halloween. She enjoyed trick or treating and all the candy she received. For several days after Halloween she insisted on carrying around her pumpkin she used for collecting candy.

I celebrated my 30th birthday on Monday! My parents came over and brought dinner and dessert! It was very nice! Kyla and Zane gave me a certificate for a massage, which I cannot wait to get!

First Snow Fall!

Well, it is snowing today! Our first snow storm this season. Zane is working out at the Airport, so Kyla and I have been hanging out. I took Kyla for a little drive after we came home from church and had lunch. Well, Kyla lasted about 5 minutes in the drive, so I drove by Roxborough State Park and took this picture. I am happy with how it turned out. I was able to capture the freshly fallen snow and get some beautiful fall colors as well!
