We took Kyla to a Birthday Bash for Maggi on Saturday at the Little Gym. It was the best set up and the kids had soooo much fun. Kyla did not want to leave when it was time to go.

I know this was last year and I never did get around to looking at the pictures until now. I thought I should post some of the pictures.
My family had an after christmas get together at the parents house. Kurt came from Steamboat, Judith came up from Blanca with Kai. David and Vanessa were out from Maryland. It’s always good to hang out with family and I have to say I am so glad that my brothers and I are close. It’s fun to see our family growing with nieces and nephews, glad to finally see Mom and Dad have some grandchildren to spoil!

Friends gave me a Baby Shower on Thursday! It was so fun and they did such a great job. Thank you so much for such a great party, I just love you girls!
I didn’t originally bring my camera so Bonnie, the sweetheart that she is, stopped by my house and picked it up. And she was kind enough to take some pictures at the party. Here are a few of them.

Well, we are counting the days until we have our baby boy. I see the Doctor every week now, and last week I was 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. I thought it would be fun to see what everyone thinks this baby will come in at!! So, what’s your guess? Leave a comment of the time the baby will be born and weight/length. I will be going in on the 23rd to be induced, so unless you think he is coming before then, you have the date! I will come up with a prize for the person who comes the closest!

We were so glad to be able to spend some time with Tio David y Tia Vanessa. Thank you for stopping in Colorado on your way to Arizona! Kyla really enjoyed playing with David and checking out pictures and video with him on his computer. And let me tell ya, Kyla is such a girlie girl (must get that from her Dad too. heehee) She loved shopping with Vanessa and helping her do her hair and make up. It is so fun to see Kyla have such a great relationship with her Tio y Tia. We are definitely going to miss you guys.

We hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We had a White Christmas, so Zane went to work out at the airport (supervising snow removal). We woke Kyla up so that she could see what Santa brought her and that he ate the cookies and milk she put out for him. She opened a few gifts before Daddy left.

We had family come to spend time with us, which I am so glad! I think Kyla enjoyed playing with her Tio the most. She finally ended up crashing on the couch!

I made cookies yesterday for a cookie exchange, about 10 dozens. I don’t usually take pictures of food, but I thought I would take a picture of my cookies lined up on the wire rack.

While I was baking the cookies Kyla came to me and asked if she could take a picture. She had the remote to my camera in her hand. She recently realized that we take our family pictures with the remote and likes to try it out herself. So I set the camera up for her by the tree and went back to my cookies. When I came back she had taken almost 300 pictures, which most of them she was not in. But these were two of many that she captured. She started with just herself in the picture, but then she started taking ornaments off the tree and holding them up to the camera and snapping away.

When we were out last night taking pictures, Zane told me to take a picture of the moon. So this was my result. I can’t wait to take a picture of the moon when it is full.

Well it only took Zane 4.5 weeks, but he finally got our lights up!!!! They even blink and dance to music. I was playing around with the camera on the second shot.

We attended Chelsea and Kenny’s Wedding on Saturday at the Pinecrest in Palmer Lake. It was a very nice ceremony and reception. Kyla enjoyed taking pictures with the disposable camera that was on our table. Not sure how they will turn out! Kyla also had fun dancing and running around with the other kids. The groom was even able to get a dance in with Kyla!
