Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving! We went to the Mayne’s in Gypsum. What a feast, there were three different Turkeys and a Leg of Lamb to choose from. Kyla enjoyed playing with the kids and especially loves playing with Cassie.

Chelsea’s Bridal Shower!

I went to a friend’s (Chelsea) bridal shower a few weeks ago. It was in Castle Rock at Augustine Grill for their High Tea. I have never been to High Tea before, it was so fun and the food was delicious. Chelsea will be getting married on Dec.15! It was so good to see her and be able to visit. Oh how I have missed her!

Carving Pumpkins!!

Let me just start by saying that I am so excited that I can share these pictures now! I have many pictures that are on my memory card just waiting to be processed. Thank You Kurt!
Well, I know these are past due, but here are a few pictures from pumpkin carving. We carved our pumpkins the week before Halloween (highly do not recommend doing that). They looked a bit shrivelled by Halloween. We had fun carving, and I guess that is what counts!

Just an Update

Well our computer is ill and I haven’t been able to process my pictures from the last couple of weeks. So I redid the design on our Blog.
We had a wonderful time for Halloween. Kyla was a scarecrow, I dressed up as a nun, and Zane was a sort of grim reaper without a mask of course. We went to our ward’s trunk or treat party on Tuesday and we took Kyla to a shopping mall on Halloween. She enjoyed trick or treating and all the candy she received. For several days after Halloween she insisted on carrying around her pumpkin she used for collecting candy.

I celebrated my 30th birthday on Monday! My parents came over and brought dinner and dessert! It was very nice! Kyla and Zane gave me a certificate for a massage, which I cannot wait to get!

First Snow Fall!

Well, it is snowing today! Our first snow storm this season. Zane is working out at the Airport, so Kyla and I have been hanging out. I took Kyla for a little drive after we came home from church and had lunch. Well, Kyla lasted about 5 minutes in the drive, so I drove by Roxborough State Park and took this picture. I am happy with how it turned out. I was able to capture the freshly fallen snow and get some beautiful fall colors as well!

Baby Kai

I had the pleasure of taking some photos of Baby Kai. Kurt and Judith came up to the house. This was good experience on taking pictures of newborns. Kai was definitely a trooper. He is so little and cute.

Kurt was given these Footie Pajamas as a gift to match a set he bought for Kai.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday! We drive out on their fields and pick our pumpkins off the vines. And then we enjoy the animals and Hay Bale Maze for the kids. But we can’t leave without getting Pumpkin Bars. Yummy!!
I did the applique on her shirt!
Kyla wasn’t in the best of moods. She just wanted to be carried, but she had a lot of fun in the hay bale maze with daddy.

Mommy and Kyla, don’t get pictures like this very often!!

None of the kids would touch the grasshopper except for Elayna!

Our good friends!!

And of course I couldn’t have a post without Daddy and Kyla!!
