This year a friend gave me the idea to spray paint our Valentine boxes for school! Kyla wanted hers to look like a suitcase and Barrett’s was a monster. They both had fun decorating their boxes and were very excited to take them to school.
I usually make our own valentine’s using a picture of each kid and then we just attach a piece of candy to it. I was going to do that this year, but I came across these cute valentine fruit tags! I asked the kids if they would want to do that and they did! So, I bought cuties and printed out tags. Who doesn’t love cuties? I forgot to get a picture of one of Kyla’s after she signed them.
I wanted to have each kid give their teacher a special valentine! Last year we made Rolo Pencils. To make it different, since Barrett has the same teachers as last year, we went with Brownie Mixes and these cute tags!
For the last two years I have been trying to finish Valentine Chair Backers for the kids. I finally finished them this year! The kids loved them. My goal was to have them finished by Feb. 1, which turned into being finished just a few days before Valentine’s! I am thinking about making one for Zane and I and then the kids can surprise us with gifts and notes! Ha! I did put surprises in them for the days that they were complete leading up to Valentine’s Day! The kids were very excited each day to check their bags.
On Valentine’s Day we had Krispy Kremes for breakfast and I made a little Valentine for each kid! Just another fun holiday to show how much we love each other!!
Kyla was excited to give us a card that she made at school!! I Love It!!
