A Sunday Afternoon

I wanted to take pictures of the kids. So, we took them to a park in Morrison the last Sunday in January. The light was disappearing quickly and the kids were getting cold. It’s always an adventure to take pictures of your own kids. I asked Zane if we should try for a family picture and he told me that a kids picture is all we need! So, here are some of the pictures that I took. They all got their cowboy boots for Christmas, so I needed a picture of them! I also ordered a canvas of the kids! Zane was using these sticks behind my head like antennas to get the kids to look and smile or laugh!

Turning 5!!

Barrett turned five at the end of January!  He wanted to go play Glow in the Dark Golf and eat at the Yard House (well maybe Zane and I wanted that last part)!  After school we waited for Zane to get home and then headed out to go play some mini golf and have dinner.  Emmett is not in any of the pictures while golfing because he was asleep.  Kyla got a hole in one on the 18th hole and was able to spin a wheel to pick a prize.  She landed on the Managers choice, and out of all the options all she wanted was a cheap plastic ring.  Kyla and Barrett played a bit of Air Hockey after we finished golfing.  The Yard House is right next to the mini golf place, so we headed over for dinner, it was a good choice Barrett made!

We then headed back home for Barrett to open presents.  His big gift was a Bey Blade set!  He also got a Lego Star Wars game for the Wii and monster trucks!
Here are 5 things I love about Barrett;
– He is very thoughtful!  He is always thinking of Kyla when she’s at school.  He will save things for her for when she gets home.
– His smile warms my heart!  He is such a sweet boy!
– He just learned how to whistle and is so proud of his accomplishment!
– He loves to ride his bike!
– He enjoys preschool and is excited to go to school where Kyla goes for Kindergarten in the fall.
