We started a new tradition this year with the kids! After Thanksgiving Santa dropped an elf off at our house one evening, Kyla named him “Buddy”. He reports back to Santa every night on Kyla and Barrett, but when he comes back to the house he usually has gotten into something or has brought something back.
This morning he had made a maze in the house with Saran Wrap! Each morning Kyla gets excited to go downstairs and see where Buddy is or what he has gotten into! She then comes into our room with an excited face and says,”you have to come and see what Buddy did, you are not going to believe it.”

That is the cutest thing I've ever heard of! I've seen those “elf on the shelf” things every where but never looked to see what it was all about. Next year I am going to have to request one from Santa! SO FUN!
