Month 5!

I believe I skipped Month 4! Go figure, I meant to take his picture after we had returned from Arizona.
I was able to get Month 5 in his onesie and I also took other pictures. I am starting a Photography Blog, so I will just post one here and more on there.
I am posting the previous Months pictures for comparison.

And here is one from the others I took of him!

Lakewood History

We went to the Lakewood Heritage Center yesterday. It turned out that all the buildings were closed except the Main building, so we just walked around and then checked out the exhibits in the Main building. We were disappointed, but still had fun. At least the kids got out and enjoyed themselves.
Before we left, we sat down at a picnic table in the shade and ate our lunch. We then went to Wendy’s for a frosty.

The kids were practicing milking a cow. Right.

Letterboxing!

We decided to join some friends on their letterboxing adventure. Basically people hide boxes with a stamp and note pad inside. You look on the website for clues on where boxes are hiding. Once you find a box you take the stamp inside the box and stamp your book and then you stamp the note pad in the box with your stamp. Click on the link to get a better explanation about letterboxing!
On this adventure we were reading the clues and completely missed the starting point. We parked in the general area, but started on the complete wrong side of the street. Anyway about an hour of walking around and pushing strollers through grass we headed back to the vehicles and what do you know across the street is the garden we were looking for! We definitely got our excercise and the kids had fun running around.
We found two letterboxes this evening, the first one was by the World War II Memorial in Littleton and the other was at Aspen Grove.
We had a lot of fun and I am sure will do it again. Thanks for the fun adventure T-5’s!!

This is Super Uno Guy. This was the one that we missed the starting point on. It was hiding in a very beautiful spot.

This is the World War II Memorial.

This is a fountain near the second one at Aspen Grove. I never even knew that there was this fountain at Aspen Grove.

And I just love taking pictures of our friends son, Sam, he has the greatest expressions!

A Hula Party!

Kyla went to a birthday party for a friend. They dressed up in grass skirts, put flowers in their hair and wore leis. They also made necklaces and bracelets. They even learned how to hula! Kyla had a great time.

Daddy, I love you more!!

I just have to post something about Father’s Day! I found this little sign at a local scrapbook store for Zane and I had to get it, because it seems to fit so perfectly what Kyla thinks of her Daddy. We also got him a book and some shirts.

I feel so blessed to have such a great man in my life as my husband, best friend, and the best Daddy! I think what makes him so great is he truly is a kid at heart. I love watching him play with Kyla and Barrett. I love it when he tells me that I need to stop buying things for Kyla and then he will come home with a surprise for her, he will tell me that he saw it and couldn’t resist getting it for her.
Zane hates me to take pictures of him, oh well!

The picture above is a bit soft as the focus landed on the tree instead of them, but I still like it and had to post it!

We Love You Zane!

A Baby Shower Missing the Mom to Be!

I hosted a Baby Shower for a friend and she ended up in the Hospital having her baby that same day! We went ahead and did the shower without her being there, per her request! Her daughter was born June 3, 2008, they named her Abby. She brought her over yesterday and we took some pictures of her. She is so cute! Here are a few pictures from the Shower.

We’ll Miss You Kurt!

Kurt will be in Iraq for a year doing contract work. He wanted to get everyone together before he left, so a few weekends ago he had a BBQ at the park. He cooked up some great pork chops. This will be the second time that Kurt has gone over to Iraq, however, he was only gone for 6 months the first time.

We love you so much Kurt!
