My little Photographer & Man!!

I wanted to capture a picture of Barrett smiling. While I was trying to do so Kyla was taking pictures of me, so I had to get one of her in action. I just love how she turned the camera. She also took some pictures of Barrett. I need to upload the pictures that she has taken.

Spring is Here!

Of course this doesn’t mean that it won’t snow anymore. My flowers have started to bloom and I get so excited! I never realize they are blooming until Zane tells me of course, as I never go in our front door. So, yesterday we spent some time outside in the afternoon and I cleaned up the planter a little while Kyla played on her motorcycle (as she calls it).

This first picture is Zane’s parking at Church. We pulled up and Butch had parked very close to the Range Rover, so Zane decided to park close to Butch!

A Little Get To Know Me Fun!

1. If your doctor told you TODAY that you were pregnant, what would you say? Considering I just had a baby in January, I’d say YIKES to having two babies in 2008 that aren’t twins. I could not imagine that and neither could my body.

2. When was the last time you flew on a plane? October 2006 to Utah for Adrianna’s sealing to her parents!

3. What did the last text message you sent say? It was a picture message of Barrett smiling! This is the picture (it was taken with my cell phone)!

4. What features do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? I love blue eyes, (which I never thought my children would have), a sense of humor and someone who is adventurous!

5. What is a goal you would like to accomplish in the near future? To get back in shape.

6. Shoe size? 8

7. Been to Mexico? Yes, Cancun.

8. When is the last time you had a massage? Just before I had Barrett, I need ANOTHER.

9. What was the last TV show you watched? I believe it was a portion of SCRUBS early this morning (4am).

10. What are your plans for the weekend? It will be Easter and we have no plans yet.

11. If your significant other asked you to marry them TODAY what would you say? Let’s get it on!!

12. What is in the back seat of your car right now? 2 car seats and some toys and blankets.

13. What were you doing at 8 am this morning? We were all asleep (except Zane, who was out at the airport working).

14. If you could marry any celebrity today who would it be? I don’t think I would want to be married to a celebrity, but I think Adam Sandler would be a riot to be married to.

15. Have you ever been to a strip club? Nope.

16. What is the best ice cream flavor? I have to say Dreyers Mint Chocolate Chip

17. What is the last sporting event you watched? Zane play Church Basketball.

18. Ever go camping? Absolutely.

19. Last phone call? To my Doctor’s office.

20. Are you allergic to anything? Cats

21. What is one thing you have learned about life recently? To have more patience.

22. What do you do at work? Teach 1 sweet little girl and baby boy to love life.

23. What is your mom’s name? Elides

24. Ever cried for no reason? Are you kidding, of course.

25. Can you do the Crank Dat dance? Umm, No.

26. What is your favorite color to wear? Pink or Brown.

27. What is the longest plane ride you have ever been on? To Brazil, on our way to Uruguay.

28. What is the longest road trip you have ever taken? To the East coast with my family, I think I was in eight grade. We were gone for two weeks and saw a lot of places.

29. What are your turn-offs? Laziness

30. What are you craving right now? I was craving Fudge, but Larry brought me his fudge last night and it was sooooo good.

Lunch with Daddy

On Monday we took a drive out east to have lunch with Zane. I told Kyla that I had a surprise for her and she was excited. She fell asleep on the way, and when Zane opened the door to the cruiser she was shocked. Kyla had so much fun, as she had the whole playground to herself. Zane was teaching her how to pump on the swing, but she would much rather be pushed. She also likes to make cakes with the gravel (it was that tire stuff). I thought Kyla would be beat and fall fast asleep on the way home, Nope she kept herself awake by singing to me all the way home. When I try to join her in singing she tells me, “No Mommy, don’t sing”.

This is how Barrett enjoyed the park. Snuggled in the sling!

Entertaining Barrett

I had to grab the camera when I looked over and saw Kyla talking to Barrett about her toys. He was actually smiling at her and I thought it was so cute. Kyla was also singing, “Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam” to him. She even tried to show him her painted toe nails.
A while later Kyla and I were cleaning up, so I put Barrett in the swing. While I was vacuuming he fell sound asleep.

Barrett’s Baby Blessing

Barrett’s Blessing was today! We had many family members come from out of town for his blessing, and a few were unable to make it due to weather conditions. Hopefully we will be able to see the Jaramillo’s and Mayne’s soon, sorry you spent so much time on the road.
We were especially excited to be able to visit with the Abuelos and Aunt Cristina on Friday. Kyla really enjoys playing with Abuelo, who was trying to sleep and all Kyla wanted to do was wake him up!
We want to Thank all those who ventured out in the weather to attend!

A Kyla Collage

I just wanted to get pictures of our family the other night, mostly to get one for a baby announcement (which we did accomplish). After looking at all the pictures I had to make a collage of the ones above. Kyla keeps us laughing with her little sayings and quirky faces, especially her fake smile.
Kyla loves the remote to the camera, so she took over after awhile, I think she took the picture of her and I in the collage above.
