I just downloaded pictures from my camera and forgot about these. These were taken almost a month ago. What a treat to spend time with the Abuelos!
Kyla enjoyed having the Abuelos over. She had a lot of fun helping Abuelita make Torta Fritas. She was so cute trying to roll out the dough!

I am so glad to see the pictures of Abuela passing down one of our Uruguayan traditions to a forth generation!!! I think that every grandchild and, now, great-grandchildren have a picture with Abuela making tortas fritas! We are blessed to have them (abuelos) so close!>Thank you for posting such beautiful pictures.

Oh well, what can you expect from some one that is not an English speaker! It should have said “fourth” not “forth.”>>It gave me a reason to write more…>Tamera, how are you feeling? Over the “morning sickness?” The Terry clan (and Eagar)is making up for lost time!>Besos!

Lost time? I had no idea it was not found… either way you could have written in Spanish, too – cuarta generacion de aprendizaje en como hacer tortas fritas! It is always fun to see the pictures and we are anxious to come out in a few weeks to see them in person.

You definitely could have written it in Spanish! I knew what you meant, anyway!!>We love spending time with the Abuelos! Wish we were closer (down the street would be nice)!!>I am feeling ok, I mostly feel the worst at night. I just try to go to bed early and eat all day!!>Besos!!!!>>Tio y Tia, we can’t wait to see you guys!

The real trick is making sure it rains when the Abuelos are visiting! Abuela has stayed true to that part of the tradition also. I would like to point out another tradition (or trait) that the Abuelos have left us: that of having two daughters! Daniel is the only one who has broken this trait in the family so far, I guess we will see if you manage the same Tamera!
